Description

Hello everyone this is a 2005ย ICย FE 300 it was from the suburbs of Seattle so no rust. I purchased last January and have worked on it on an off for a year. Registered as a RV in Oregon and if you live in Oregon you have a full year of plates exp 1/27. Almost 6โ€™4โ€ of headroom. This is the second bus I have owned.

The engine is a DT466e with 2500 series Allison 5 speed transmission. Cruises at 65mph @ 2100 rpm. And yes, it has cruise control, this is great as my old bus did not have it.

There are all new tires, front end alignment, brake pads and drums. All fluids and filters have been changed. That includes engine, transmission, differential, greased and front wheel hubs oil changed. I did replace ICP sensor (not insane clown posse) and turbo actuator. As they are known to be issues and I really dislike working on stuff when I am traveling.

The exterior was painted white 2 coats of high quality urethane automotive paint. The roof was primed 2 coats and then rolled on 3 coats of dicor metal roof coating. It really does make a difference and helps with the bifacial solar panels that are attached to Iron Ridge xr1000 rail front to back. You could build a deck on the rails. All windows removed and resealed the blanks are galvannealed steel. All clearance marker lights are new and led reverse lights the turn and break were already LED. I am still considering adding more panels but I like to camp in the woods so really doesnโ€™t make sense for me.

The interior is 3/4โ€ cabinet grade plywood 12 layers. That includes the walls I was going to do 1/2โ€ but for some reason 3/4โ€ was $40 a sheet cheaper. So now you can take some small arms fire. All cabinets are custom made with soft close drawers and doors. All cabinets except for kitchen are trimmed in reclaimed barn wood. I was told the barn was built in 1938. I milled all the lumber and built the cabinets and corian countertops.

There is 100 gallon fresh water tank 15 gallon gray water tank. The 24 volt water pump and accumulator tank are shurflo marine pumps. The exterior fill and vent are stainless. From there the water travels though 3/4โ€ pex to the furrion tankless water heater. There is a 28โ€ deep sink, nice size shower with custom made stainless steel shower pan and small hand washing sink with a Natures Head composting toilet. Never used not even by an old lady

Now to the electrical the bus was wired with Anchor tinned marine wire and crimps. The battery is a Eg4 24 volt 5120 watt hour going to Victron Multiplus 2 24/3000/70 . The is 2 540 watt bifacial solar panels going to the Victron 100/50 charge controller ย with cerbo gx. The shore power plug is a marine stainless 30 amp twist lock plug. Every thing on the bus that is DC is 24 volts except the Max Air fan, Natures Head, and the hot water heater which are all 12 volt. Pioneer 9,000 btu mini split.

The appliances are solar and the fridge only draws 60 watts when working hard but usually less that that. The ย gas range is propane and the igniter is powered by two 9 volt batteries. It is a small oven and does have a broiler. Also, has a small vent to remove moisture and smoke.

This one has a good amount 1โ€ polystyrene under the 3/4โ€ advantech subfloor Mohawk vinyl tiles on top. Also the roof and sides were covered in sealtech vapor barrier and 1โ€ polystyrene and the 1 1/2 of EPS it holds heat and cool very well, ย so a little over 2 1/2โ€ ย the end caps and wheel wells are filled with denim insulation. One more good thing is that if anything needs to be repaired or added, you can just disassemble to get to wires and piping.

it comes with fire extinguisher, first aid kit, carbon monoxide/propane alarm, and smoke dectector. New mattress. Bedding in photos not included.

I worked in the marine industry since I was a child,( long time ago) have done all of the trades dealing with boats and yachts. ย Any questions or more photos feel free to reach out. ย We accept cash or cashiers check will be going to bank with buyer to verify both. I will be using it till it sells.
