2006 GMC Short Bus Partial Conversion
Please read full post before contacting.
Seller (myself) is willing to finance the sale of this skoolie provided a down payment of 15k. I am also willing warranty major mechanical functions of the school bus such as the drive train, engine, and transmission, to give the new owner confidence in the Buses working ability. This is not an unlimited warranty. This would be a fixed amount and agreed upon by both parties in sales contract.
This Skoolie is in excellent mechanical condition and is ready for a cross-country trip. I’ve had it inspected by a mechanic and tuned up recently and everything looked great. There’s also a full brand new set of tires already on the bus and I have a set of 4 other new ones that will be included in the deal.
This conversion features stained cedar wood on the ceiling and 3/4-inch plywood on the walls. There is also 2 inches of spray foam insulation behind the wood on both the walls and ceiling.
I installed LVP hardwood planks throughout the whole floor and made a bed frame for a full mattress that is included as well.
I bought the cabinets from a hardware store and stained the butcher block that rests on top of it. The cabinets and butcher block are not nailed down as I hadn’t decided which side I wanted to place the sink on yet.
There is a nice metal sink that is also included in the materials that I hadn’t yet installed that will come with the bus.
There is also a small freezer and an electric thermometer that will work as a fridge once the bus has power.
I have all the parts to set up the electricity in the bus but never got around to installing it. The main components of the system are 2 200 amp deep cycle batteries, a 3000 Watt converter, a battery isolator for running energy off the converter when the bus is running, and a bunch of wiring and other devices used to connect the system together.
Financing Terms: Open to offers to accomodate for buyers circumstance.
10k down, seller will finance remaining balance of 18,500 over 36-48 months.
