I bought this 2006 Thomas C2 school bus after taking a job in California with plans to convert it into an off grid RV. Plans have ultimately changed and other opportunities have presented themselves. Now I am looking to sell this 65% completed conversion. This is a GREAT bus! Only 145,000 miles. I installed 2 new batteries and had the entire thing serviced and inspected before purchasing. The bus also has newer tires with great tread. Very easy to drive and maneuver.
I have also purchased most of the remaining components to complete the conversion that are also included with the price. Components include: 9,000BTU mini split, 1,200kW solar set up with panels, (4) 100 amp hr Battle Born Batteries, Victron MPPT controller transfer switch, Furrion Vision back up camera, touchscreen radio/entertainment system, MaxxAir vent fan (installed), 31gal black tank (under mounted), 55gal grey tank (under mounted), 45 gal fresh water tank, tank level monitoring system, exterior mounted LED light bar, (2) 12v tank heaters, interior diesel heater, 12v water pump, instant water heater, water fill, 30amp exterior plug, misc. electrical components (12v switches, rockers, panel box, LED puck lights, etc), exterior LED lights, Toilet, misc. plumbing items, and bathroom sink/faucet/drain. All 12v and 110/120v wiring has been run. The bus has also been stripped, sanded, and is ready for paint. Resale on a fully finished skoolie conversion is anywhere from $40,000-$60,00 making this not only a fun project for personal use, but a potential investment opportunity with quick turn around if desired. Asking $23,000. Willing to exclude the solar components and sell for $20,000. May be willing to sell just the bus without any of the components if someone would be interested in making an offer with that in mind. Just looking to get out what I have invested.
