This oddity is a converted Crown supercoach. It’s a mid pancake 250 cummins diesel engine with a 5speed manual transmission. With a top speed of 55 mph, and averaging 11.5 MPG, the bus was converted with a focus on living. We expected to move less often, so we never saw a benefit to swap mechanicals for more speed. Converted from 2015 to 2018. The bus was retitled as a motorhome. We raised the roof 12 inches. The inside height is around 80″ in the front and 73″ in the back. The home batteries are new and rated at 400AH with a Xantrex 3000watt inverter/charger. The fresh water tanks can hold 100 gallons, grey tanks 110 gallons, and black tank 55 gallons. There are 2 heat pumps/AC, one diesel heater, a propane oven, propane on demand heater, a washer/dryer combo, and a high efficiency apartment sized fridge. We just took the bus out to Yellowstone in June of 2022. We had to replace the starting batteries, and add antifreeze periodically. The water pump seal has a slow drip. I’m sure I’ll update this more in the coming days, but that’s all for now. We look forward to someone else getting to enjoy our bus.
