I have mixed emotions about the idea of parting with this. It was a father / son / friend project and we have had great times with it. We have recently bought a 5th wheel camper and I don’t have room to store this indoors as I did before.
Rust free and practically dent free (nothing more than a few dings). Low mileage for this great engine 5.9L Cummins. 88000 +/- . Runs great, has had some recent upgrades and regular maintenance. Tires are good, and it does not have air brakes.
Interior is finished with White Knotty Cedar and it is insulated like a yeti cooler, that is to say, we did not spare expense on the insulation or anything else for that matter.
4 rear windows have been removed on both sides and replaced with factory matching grade and thickness galvanized metal. Has fully functional toilet and residential size shower (36×36 base) 25-gallon black tank, 25-gallon grey tank, 45-gallon fresh water tank. New bosch 7 gallon water heater. Custom seat cushions. New vinyl plank flooring. Backup Camera. 4000 Onan onboard generator, with remote start and 25 gallon dedicated gasoline fuel cell.
Custom hitch and we have pulled a 30ft. travel trailer several hundred miles for a couple trips. It does have electric trailer brake device and pigtail. Nice functional overhead AC unit. Shore Power, power inverter/battery charger. 2 practically new batteries. Power fan vent over shower and regular vent near driver seat. Several nice custom touches…everybody that sees it absolutely loves it. We have used it to camp and tailgate. I have many pictures of the build process, let me know what you want to see.
