This is a 1997 Blue Bird bus with a Cummins engine 5.9 L turbo diesel and Allison transmission. This is the most RELIABLE. MODEL!  Do your research you would know. It is All Mechanical components. Which means it doesn’t have weird computer and software issues and fuse box reliability issues the newer ones have. This model engine was the last of the true mechanical Turbo diesel’s and no emission restrictions Other than the muffler.  Basically it’s reliable because it’s BRUTE strength with nothing to hold  it back. This bus does not smoke! The newer model Cummings diesel engines came with emission restrictions and computer and software reliability issues. This is the reason why I purchased this model. It drives great it’s shifts perfect very low miles 96K.

Ready to be converted I honestly Debate in my head keeping it everyday!! I was just driving it again today and it honestly tears me apart to let it go. Tires a great! For those who know tires alone can cost you at least $3000. Because again for those who know tires on these buses go for easily $500-$1000 a tire. This bus Doesn’t leak.  No rust issues!

I would’ve loved to keep this bus and continue my adventure however due to Covid the family member I was going on this adventure with sadly passed away.
