1997 Bluebird TC2000 40′ Skoolie Move-in Ready

Converted into a fully functional tiny home, ready for the freedom and adventure that a tiny home on wheels brings! This 40 ft. skoolie was designed to maximize space, without sacrificing storage, with an open layout that can evolve with you and still have room to host guests! We lived in it for a year with our Bernese Mountain Dog, but opportunities opened up we couldn’t pass on. Currently located in Denver, CO and available immediately.

Utilities

• 820 watts of solar panels – Magnum Energy inverter/charger (Model: MMS1012-G) – 1000 watt, with 20-amp AC transfer capability and a 50-amp, 4-stage PFC charger – MidNite Solar “The Kid” Charge Controller
• (2) Crown Batteries: AGM 220 Ah 12 VDC 2,640 Wh– The amount of solar we can bring in could keep several more batteries topped off pretty consistently.
  • 1 of 4 exterior underbody storage boxes located under current powerback could be converted to hold as many as 6 batteries of equal size to the ones we currently have
• Excel Tankless Vent Free Propane Water Heater (5.5L/min) – (2) 20 gal.

Mechanical details:

• Assuming its warm enough or engine block is plugged in, and batteries are charged, the engine has always started up perfectly for us! We purchased the bus only 8 months after it was retired as a school bus, per required regulations. –
• 267,830 miles on odometer, which is not significant for the 8.3 Cummins Diesel engine.
• Recent Oil & Oil Filter Change
• All new Coolant
• New Air Dryer Cartridge
• Cracks in windshield
• Headlights, Tail/Brake lights and blinkers work, but some other external lighting functionality doesn’t work at this time
• Tires will need replaced (All tires hold air except for one of 4 rear tires)
• Some minor air and oil leaks
