1999 Chevy E3500 Short Bus

We are selling our beloved partially converted short bus as we are preparing for our next big adventure. The bus has a very comfortable layout which was ideal for two people and a dog. We lived in the bus very happily full time for half a year with an RV hookup setup. 

The bus is mostly finished aside from the plumbing as we have recently remodeled the bathroom. The separate bathroom space comes with a dometic toilet, a shower head and mixer, an electric water heater, and an 11 gal black tank. There is a 100 gal fresh water tank located beneath the bed. Buyer would still need a gray water tank. Some pex plumbing has already been ran in the bathroom but more would need installed for the kitchen area. Kitchen has a corner cabinet top set up with a 15 inch bar sink installed. There is a cutout in the countertop ready for a burner installation, however at this time there is a custom plug in the cutout which matches the countertops. Kitchen also has a 3.5 cubic ft fridge/freezer combo and overhead cabinetry. The jump bench across from the kitchen can easily store the detachable table top and pole, and is an ideal location for an additional seat belt if you have a co pilot riding along. The bed accommodates a full sized mattress and has easily accessible storage underneath it in addition to the fresh water tank. There also is overhead cabinetry running above the bench and bed. 

As for the bus itself, we have deleted the school bus flashing lights and stop sign. We have blanked out four windows with custom metal inserts. The tires only have about 2000 miles on them, as we purchased new ones before traveling. Brakes still have at least half their pads left, and routers were good. Shocks are sound, but if you plan to carry a lot of weight the rear ones could be beefery. 

Unfortunately the gas gauge recently broke on our last excursion (though it should be a relatively easy fix). Other than that, the bus pulls like a champ on all kinds of terrain and can make it up impressively steep hills. She also handles dirt roads and off roading like a pro. So if you really want to get away from it all, she can take you there. She is also great for inner city driving, as she is only 18.5 ft long and fits in a standard parking space. 

Our plan was to eventually make the bus an off grid tiny house, so it also comes with two 315 watt solar panels which have yet to be installed. There is also a tow hitch rack for brining along bikes and the spare front tire. Buyer would also be welcome to our left over pex plumbing and a 25ft rv hook up waterhose.

We are very motivated sellers and would consider a partial or full trade for a small truck or SUV, undeveloped land, or a small boat.
