ALL SEASON 1999 DT466e BUS CONVERSION FOR SALE $25,000 OBO

Sellin our 1999 International with a 7.9l super cummins turbodiesel engine with 110000 miles and an automatic Allison transmission. Its 38 feet long and about 5’10 headroom in the main area.

We built this bus for a family winter home on wheels, so it has some qualities you wont find in other buses. It has electricity but no plumbing, or bathroom. There are spaces that have potential, but we didnt feel the need for either because we were worried they both would freeze.

-200 watts of solar panels, two deep cycle batteries, 1000w inverter and Renogy charge controller

-large wood stove with insulation and a 7 inch pipe on fireproof pad with fireproof backing

-three inches of fiberglass insulation in ceiling, two inches of polyiso foam and spray foam for walls. Floor also has a layer of Reflective insulation as a moisture barrier.

-vinyl flooring

-LOTS of storage. I mean LOTS. Our bus has an entire basement/garage area of 8×12 feet accessible from only back entrance as well as a large pantry/storage sofa with LIGHT puppy damage on the edge (teething..)

-we had cats, so theres a covered area for box access built into a separate compartment in storage sofa.

-comes with a set of logging truck chains. Four season? We didnt know we needed them until we NEEDED them.

-lots and lots of engine work. Had a push start wired in, a couple tows to the mechanic as well as a few visits with mobile mechanic services and routine services. We drove all over USA and Canada and back. It runs like a top right now.

-has two sunroof, one opens and one does not

-has new engine batteries

-also has LOTS of free space to add. You could add an entire fridge and gas/electric stove and still have space. We had open concept to accommodate our changing needs (four dogs, new baby, off grid constantly)

-has a 120 gallon diesel tank and theres lots of space underneath for a water tank if you wanted.

CONS:

-we took it off roading a lot, sometimes with chains on and up some crazy stuff. The tire tread is still good but it would love to be treated to some newer tires.

-it parked for long periods of time, it will lose it’s fuel prime and need a spray of starting fluid to start up.

-it has light dog damage. Like, a few nibbles from the corner of the sofa and the driver’s chair. The front door was victim to an escape attempt made by our German shepherd. As a result, the weather stripping is a bit wonky.

Other than that it’s been a super good bus!! It has a clean title and we have most of the records from repairs and can get them all if needed. It also was first owned by a school district in rural Oklahoma, so has been maintained regularly. We are selling it to move to Alaska with our little baby. If you want a pretty hardcore bus that’s got space to build and add, this is for you.
