2008 Ford Econoline E450 Super Duty Shuttle Bus (Gutted)
2008 Ford Econoline E450 Super Duty Cutaway Shuttle Bus for sale.
Asking price: $3,000
I purchased this bus in September 2021 with the intention of converting it into an RV, but my plans have changed, and I’m looking to sell it. It has a lot of miles, but it also has $4,000 worth of repairs, upgrades, and maintenance, and it runs smoothly and reliably.
Please contact me if you would like to come take a look at it!

The Bad: ——————————————————————–
– The AC does not work. The fans work, but I suspect the refrigerant was drained at some point.
– There’s a small leak in the ceiling in the rear of the bus, presumably from where the AC unit is mounted through the roof, which drips into the rear corners.
– One of panes of glass in the passenger door window is broken and currently covered with a rigorous amount of heavy duty packaging tape.
– The accessibility lift in the rear of the bus is no longer receiving electrical power for some reason. It was working several months ago when I bought it, and it’s still fully intact. I’m not sure if a connector came loose somewhere or what exactly has caused it to lose power.
– The check engine light is on. I was informed that the error message has to do with one of the glow plugs, but the glow plugs work just fine. The engine starts reliably even in the dead of winter.
The Good: ——————————————————————-
– The batteries are good, and I’ve had no issues with the engine starting reliably.
– These E450s have a known problem with overheating. That’s already been fixed on this bus by replacing the oil cooler and EGR cooler.
– All ball joints (both sides, upper and lower) have been replaced and are new.
– Was serviced 2,000 miles ago; oil changed, steering linkage fittings lubricated, break/power steering/transmission fluid levels corrected
– All of the passenger seats are already removed, making it perfect for a skoolie or RV conversion. It would also make a good vehicle for moving or storing things.
